How Does LAGO Work?

LAGO is a configurable suite of web-based and client server applications. End users in Merchandising, Marketing, Advertising and Creative utilize LAGO to develop assortment plans, build publishing schedules and create media (catalogs, websites, retail fliers, etc). All LAGO applications can be used inside or outside a corporate firewall and LAGO can support users or suppliers in multiple locations. All relevant product, pricing and layout data is saved in a centralized database and kept up to-date with daily, hourly or real-time web-service interfaces into corporate mainframe systems.

Connecting Users with Timely, Accurate Product Data and Content

LAGO creates bridges between various data sources, systems, people and processes, and provides up-to-the-minute product, job and end-user task information for all users of the system. The diagram above identifies which LAGO application is typically used by different departments across a large retailing enterprise.
